Change Your Thoughts & Change Your Life
Rosemary Malatesta is a key Board member for the Self Worth Coalition and she hosts meetings for the leadership team at her charming B&B in Kennett Square, PA. Years ago, Rosemary discovered hidden depths of courage, strength and determination when she experienced divorce, bankruptcy, foreclosure, and the loss of her business and her children who moved in with their father. Reeling in the aftermath, she realized that she needed to go within to find herself and her true self worth. So she immersed herself in books, seminars and counseling, which put her on the path to self discovery.
Through this journey, Rosemary discovered hypnosis and the power of the mind. This allowed her to uncover her passion and hidden talents, and understand her own self worth. Empowered, she decided to become a Hypnotherapist herself to help others. Her motto is “I feel great and I want everyone to feel great too!” In addition to her hypnotherapy business, Rosemary opened the 1842 Stebbins-Swayne House Bed and Breakfast in 2005. This was the fulfillment of a dream she had since her early 20’s. For the past 5 years she has welcomed guests from all over the world. Her love of cooking and local history are appreciated by her guests. Surrounded by lovely gardens, her guests have the opportunity to relax and find their own inner peace and self worth.
Rosemary sets the stage to help others change their thoughts in order to change their lives. If she did, she knows you can too!

Credit, Debt & Financial Empowerment
Nancy Lyn Cotter
Founder & CEO of the Self Worth Coalition – A Global Initiative Personal Credit Coach, Author & Speaker
Contributing Author to the 2009 Bestseller Overcomers, Inc. True Stories of Hope, Courage & Inspiration
Currently working on her first “solo” BOOK – the Working Title: ReDefining C.R.E.D.I.T. for the 21st Century Finding a Way to Fulfill Our Promise as Individuals, as a Nation, and as Citizens of the World
Nancy Cotter had an unconventional career path that perfectly positioned her to do what she is doing now. She has a background in psychology and teaching, as well as 20 years working with corporations and non-profits. In spite of external measures of success, Nancy had a lack of self worth that kept her dreams on the back burner for over 30 years. It took a personal tragedy to finally awaken her and compelled her to take a new direction at a time in life when others are planning for retirement.
Moving through crisis to find a path to empowerment, Nancy pursued her own love of learning to find the resources, tools and people that helped her discover and develop her natural talents and strengths. By meeting the challenges and confronting her fears and emotional baggage, she emerged well grounded in a solid foundation of self worth and peace of mind.
Now at the age of 56, she has finally found the courage to speak her truth and is writing her first book. Creating the Self Worth Coalition she has stepped up to do what she never imagined she could with an inner strength she never knew she had.
Nancy knows she is not unique or special, she’s like anyone else, the only difference is that she made a conscious choice to change and found a way to do it. She knows if she can, so can others. That is her mission – to help others find peace and fulfillment – and it’s at the forefront of all she does. She is helping to light the way for others seeking empowerment and positive change.
Jennifer Peed:
CFO and Program Director for Financial Literacy, Self Worth Coalition
Jennifer Peed is one of the original organizers of the Coalition and knows first-hand the importance of self worth, personal growth and new learning.
After working in corporations for 15 years, Jennifer felt unfulfilled and made a conscious choice to become a teacher. Even though many questioned her decision due to the steep pay cut and sacrifices she would have to make to attend college again, she took a leap of faith to fulfill her dream of empowering others.
Combining a passion for teaching with her business experience allowed Jennifer to share a unique perspective with her students and make a real difference in their lives. Her choice for a meaningful career versus a higher paycheck was validated by every heartfelt “thank you” she received from her students and their parents.
Every step she took further increased her self confidence and Jennifer is now on the road to achieving more life goals. She is in the final stages of her Master’s program in Educational Leadership and knows without a doubt that learning is a life-long journey of empowerment.
Now, as she steps up into her influential role with the Coalition, Jennifer is in a position to broaden her impact with a positive message of transformation through education that counts. Her passion and belief in herself has empowered her to transcend challenges and reconfirmed her belief that “It’s never too late in life to learn something new and make a powerful change in your life!"
