Welcome to my Overcoming Adversity TeleSeries

My intention for creating this teleseries is to offer support, inspiration, hope and courage to listeners who may be dealing with life situations that are overwhelming, and to offer solutions, skills and resources that will help encourage a supportive community.

Globally, as we transition though challenges that are life changing, it is important to know that we are not alone on this journey. Please join me to help create a global community of hope, courage and inspiration. Together, we can make the change that will enhance not only our own emotional well-being but that of our children and everyone that we come in contact with.

“Be the change that you want to see in the World.” Ghandi

For 29 years Holly Eburne, a physical therapist, has helped thousands of people --from Olympic athletes to 80 year-olds with arthritis--reach their goals of fitness and health. Holly is a ‘solutionist’ and creates unique and simple plans for any challenge--physical, emotional or mental.

Three years ago her husband, Dave, at age 56, was diagnosed with Frontotemporal dementia. This life experience has accelerated Holly’s abilities to find creative ways to ‘love’ her life with all of its changes and unpredictability.

Living with Dave and his dementia has been Holly’s greatest teacher—more than all of her schooling combined. She has found 3 keys to taking the dis-ease out of dementia: #1 belief or a knowing that you will have a happy life despite the diagnosis of dementia or any other overwhelming situation; #2. an intense need or will to change your situation; #3 daily commitments to action.

Listen to how Holly and her family are awakening to the riches of dementia and living a better life than before Dave’s diagnosis.
